This page descibes how to use the CEGSseq wiki. The CEGSseq wiki supports two types of users "editors" and "subscribers". Editors can create new pages and modify the contents of an existing page, while subscribers may only comment on a page's contents. If you are an editor you should see the following selections of buttons at the bottom of this page:

whereas a subscriber should see only:

1. Capabilities common to both editors and subscribers

Pressing [Wiki Contents] will return you to the Wiki's table of contents. [Add Comment] allows you to make a comment on the current page you are viewing. When you choose [Add Comment], a Word-like editor will be launched. Within this editior there is a wide range of typesetting options, such as changing the font's size, face, and color. You can also set paragraph alignments and styles, indent sections, add horizonal rules, create tables and create lists. Images can be added by simply dragging-and-dropping them into the document where you want them placed. Afterwards, they can be resized by selecting and dragging the image's corners. Under the insert/edit image icon there are alternative methods for inserting and resizing images.

2. Additional capabilies of editors

Editors can create new Wiki pages, which are either primary pages or child pages. Primary pages can only be created from the Wiki's table of contents page by clicking the [Add New Wiki Page] button. Child pages are created while on a primary page (by selecting [Add Child Page]). When a new page is created you are redirected to a page with the same word-like editor used for entering comments. This page also contains a field for entering a Page Title. When a page is created the first thing that you should do is enter a unique title.

Once a page is created it an be subsequently edited by selecting the [Edit] button.
